Whoa, what a turnout in support of Moose McArthur, his battalion, and his family at McArthur's Bakery in Chesterfield Saturday. The patriotism on display was overwhelming, and the outpouring of goodies for the mother-of-all care packages for the troops incredible. As you heard on the broadcast, Dave, Mindy and Moose's wife Lindsay were moved...and we were all touched. There were items overflowing the sidewalk, thousands of 'em, that filled a room sized bakery truck 4 feet high. It gets better: $2300 in cash was donated to defray shipping costs to Afghanistan. Volunteers stood up to help with packing the goodies too. You patriots are amazing! Thanks from all of us at NewsTalk 97.1 FM for all you did...and do..to support our troops.
