Nixon Seeking Federal Help For Ferguson Businesses

(Jefferson City, MO) -- Missouri Governor Jay Nixon wants the U.S. Small Business Administration to make low-interest loans available to businesses that were damaged by riots and looting in Ferguson. Nixon has filed a formal request asking the agency to declare an economic injury disaster in the region. Economic injury disaster loans provide necessary working capital until normal business operations resume.
