Pendleton Says McCann Not Comfortable In NYC

(New York, NY) -- Brian McCann's former hitting coach doesn't believe playing for the Yankees is a good fit for the veteran catcher. Atlanta Braves first base coach Terry Pendleton tells the "New York Post" that New York is not for McCann and that he will never be comfortable there. Pendleton was his hitting coach for six seasons in Atlanta. McCann entered Tuesday batting just .230 with 10 home runs and 38 RBI after signing a five-year, 85-million-dollar contract with the Yankees in the offseason.
