Donald Sterling Combative On Stand In Trial Over Clippers Sale

(Los Angeles, CA) -- Embattled Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling is holding nothing back in his fight to keep his wife from selling his team. Sterling took the stand Tuesday in an effort to block Shelly Sterling from selling the team to former Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer. In his testimony, Sterling went after the opposing attorney and at times mocked his questions. He also took issue with the two doctor exams that declared him mentally incapacitated and allowed Shelly to sell the team without his input.

Sterling claimed his wife misrepresented the exams as routine checkups. He also said he believes Shelly is "terrified and frightened" of the NBA.
