Southern Utah University Is Removing Senator Harry Reid's Name

(Cedar City, UT) -- Southern Utah University is taking Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's name off one of its buildings. University President Scott Wyatt says removing Reid's name from one of the school's buildings is not politically motivated.
Reid's name had been placed on the school's Outdoor Engagement Center to honor the school's famous alumnus. Citizens who oppose many of Reid's political views met with the school's president recently in a bid to have Reid's name taken down, some of whom were willing to donate money to do so.
