Obama To Defend Foreign Policy In West Point Speech

(Undated) -- President Obama is ready to defend his foreign policy approach when he delivers the commencement speech at the U.S. Military Academy on Wednesday. Administration officials say Obama will use the West Point speech to state his case that foreign policy which relies on multilateral diplomacy rather than military interventions better serves the U.S. and the world. The White House says the speech will be the first in a series that the President and other top advisers will give to explain the foreign policy he intends to pursue during the final two and a half years of his presidency.
