Sharpton's Staten Island March Ends Peacefully

(Staten Island, NY) -- Several thousand protesters attended the Reverend Al Sharpton's march and rally on Staten Island to protest the chokehold death of an unarmed man during an arrest attempt.
It started at the spot where Eric Garner died on July 17th, moved past the DA's office and police precinct and ended with a rally in front of family court. Sharpton promised it would be peaceful and it was. The NYPD reports no incidents or arrests.
