(New York, NY) -- Doctors at Mt. Sinai Hospital in Manhattan are expected to bring comedienne Joan Rivers out of a medically-induced coma this weekend to evaluate her condition. Rivers is reportedly resting comfortably after she stopped breathing yesterday during minor throat surgery. Rivers' daughter, Melissa, has released a statement thanking people for the support and love they're showing for her 81-year-old mother. It's been widely reported that the funny lady was in cardiac and respiratory arrest when she was rushed to the hospital yesterday from an Upper East Side surgery center.
