(Boston, MA) -- For the second time in a week, a fight between passengers over a reclining seat forces a airliner to make an unscheduled landing. Attorney Janet Macnab says her client, Edmund Alexandre, was on an American Airlines flight from Miami to Paris when he became angry when the woman in front of him reclined her seat.
Wednesday's incident escalated to the point where an air marshal had to intervene and handcuff the suspect until the plane landed in Boston. Alexandre is from Paris and faces state and federal charges.
The incident came days after a United Airlines flight was forced to divert to Chicago after one passenger used a device to keep the person in front of him from reclining her seat.
