No Prosecution Of NFL Players Accused In Assault

(Miami, FL) -- Three NFL players won't be prosecuted after a woman claimed she was sexually assaulted by them in a downtown Miami hotel. The State Attorney's Office says there isn't enough evidence to bring charges against San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick or his friends, fellow 49er Quinton Patton and Seattle Seahawks receiver Ricardo Lockette. Prosecutors said medical tests showed that the woman was not sexually assaulted and described her as incoherent and agitated when she called 9-1-1 from the Viceroy Hotel on April 1st.
