Joan Rivers Condition To Be Assessed Today

(New York, NY) -- Doctors at Mount Sinai Hospital are expected to assess the damage to comedienne Joan Rivers' brain today. Friends and family fear her motor skills have been severely damaged and she will be left in a vegetative state. The 81-year-old comedienne went into cardiac arrest last Thursday during a medical procedure on her vocal cords. Her family is said to be considering a lawsuit against the clinic where the surgery took place.
