Group of Protestors Are Suing Ferguson Police

(Ferguson, MO) -- A group of protestors in Ferguson, Missouri is suing local police officials for 40-million dollars over civil rights violations. The lawsuit is being filed by six people who say law enforcement engaged in "militaristic displays of force and weaponry" during protests following the shooting death of Michael Brown. Protests broke out just hours after the unarmed black teenager was killed by white police officer Darren Wilson on August 9th. Neither the city nor the police departments have made any comments on the lawsuit.
