Governor: Missouri Highway Patrol Taking Over Security In Ferguson

(Ferguson, MO) -- Missouri's governor says the state's highway patrol is taking over security in Ferguson.
Governor Jay Nixon's announcement came after four straight nights of violent protests following Saturday's fatal police shooting of an unarmed black teenager. Earlier, President Obama criticized Ferguson police for using excessive force against peaceful protesters.

Missouri Governor Jay Nixon says a different law enforcement agency is now handling security in Ferguson. Nixon says people in Ferguson should notice the difference when the Missouri Highway Patrol takes over the security operation. Play Clip
