Archbishop Confirms Pope Francis' Trip To Philly

(Fargo, ND) -- Pope Francis has accepted an invitation to travel to Philadelphia next year to attend the World Meeting of Families. According to the Catholic News Service, Archbishop Charles Chaput made the announcement prior to delivering the homily at the opening Mass of a religious conference in North Dakota. A Vatican spokesman says the Pope has expressed his willingness to participate in the World Meeting of Families and is considering invitations to visit other American cities as well including New York and Washington, DC while he's in the United States.
