Another Ohio Mayor Wants Same-Sex Marriage Ban Stricken

(Cincinnati, OH) -- The mayor of Cincinnati wants Ohio's ban on same-sex marriage stricken from the books. On his Twitter feed, Mayor John Cranley asked a three-member judicial panel currently considering the issue to strike the ban. He joins other Ohio mayors calling for a ruling in favor of gay marriage in the 6th Circuit Court of Appeals. The ruling will affect same-sex marriage bans not only in Ohio, but in Kentucky, Tennessee and Michigan as well. There's no timeline for when the panel might rule.
