Amoeba Found In Louisiana Water

(Undated) -- There are signs of a potentially deadly brain-eating bacteria in water samples in some parts of Louisiana. Officials are warning folks in the towns of Reserve, Garyville and Mount Airy not to allow water to get inside their noses when swimming because it could transfer the amoeba to the brain. Officials insist the water is safe to drink and use otherwise.
