Amber Alert Issued In Abduction Of Two Amish Girls In New York

(Canton, NY) -- Police in upstate New York are hoping an Amber Alert will help them find two young Amish girls who were kidnapped near the Canadian border last night. The St. Lawrence County Sheriff's Office says 12-year-old Fannie Miller and her six-year-old sister Delila were forced into a small white four-door sedan which then drove off. The "Rochester Democrat & Chronicle" reports the girls were working at a roadside stand along a state highway when they were taken.
