Obama: Siege On Mt. Sinjar Is Broken

(Martha's Vineyard, MA) -- President Obama says the U.S. military has helped break the siege on Iraqis trapped on Mount Sinjar. Obama announced today that the military has delivered more than 100-thousand meals to Yazidis and others who had fled the marauding ISIS forces in northern Iraq. He said advisors on the mountain have reported that the meals are getting around to people in need, and the people who are trapped there are escaping their situation. Obama said the situation on the mountain has improved, and Americans should be proud.
