Twitter COO Resigns

(San Francisco, CA) -- Twitter says its chief operating officer is resigning and won't be replaced. A recent report from Re/code had indicated that stockholders were concerned about the lack of growth and the fact that COO Ali Rowghani had dumped a lot of shares. Rowghani will remain with the company as an adviser. Twitter says his COO duties will be absorbed by the company's management team. Twitter shares are up more than four percent on the news.
