Stocks Closing Down, Airline Stocks Sink

(New York, NY) -- Stocks are closing in negative territory with the Dow Jones Industrial Average plunging 110 points to close at 16-734. The Nasdaq dropped 34 points to 42-98 and the S&P 500 was down 14 points to 19-30. Stocks in U.S. airlines were sinking on worries of higher oil prices. Shares in United Airlines were down around six-percent, while American plunged nearly five percent.
Shares of Lululemon were down over 15-percent after the yoga apparel maker lowered its outlook for the rest of the year. On the tech side, Twitter was up over three-percent following today's announcement that Chief Operating Officer Ali Rowghani was stepping down.
