Stock Market May Be Supported By Economic Bounce

(Undated) -- The U.S. stock market is showing such strength that economic data soon to be released might not need to be that good to keep it moving forward. Gross domestic product for the second quarter is due this week and is projected to have grown by more than three percent. Growth shrank just under three-percent in the first quarter. The contraction has been attributed to a harsh winter and spending cuts tied to the Affordable Care Act.
