New York Times Calls For Repeal Of Federal Pot Ban

(New York, NY) -- The "New York Times" says the federal ban on marijuana should be repealed. In an editorial that's appearing in Sunday's editions, the "Times" compares the federal law that bans pot to the prohibition of alcohol during the 1920s and 30s. The editorial comes less than two years after Colorado and Washington became the first states to legalize the recreational use of marijuana. The editorial is headlined, "Repeal Prohibition, Again."
