Fast-Food Workers Planning Thursday Strike

(Undated) -- Workers at McDonald's, Burger King and other fast-food restaurants are planning a large-scale walkout Thursday. It's all part of their continued fight for a 15-dollar hourly wage. Fast-food workers in May staged rallies in several cites including Boston, New York and Miami. The "New York Times" reports organizers for Thursday are planning nonviolent civil disobedience tactics including sit-ins. The newspaper also says home care workers are planning to join the fast-food employees in solidarity.
