Detroit Bankruptcy Trial Starts

(Detroit, MI) -- The bankruptcy trial for the city of Detroit gets underway today. U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Steven Rhodes will preside over the trial, which is expected to last until mid-October. The city filed for bankruptcy protection in July 2013 with debts of more than 18-billion dollars.
