Coca-Cola Scales Back On Russian Advertising

(Undated) -- Coca-Cola is scaling back on its TV advertising in Russia. The company said today it is removing ads on four Russian TV channels. Coca-Cola says the move was prompted by a drop in second quarter sales. But a Russian newspaper is quoting sources who say Coke's decision to pull the ads is probably linked to U.S. and European sanctions against Ukraine. Coca-Cola denies there was any political motive.
