Williams Wife: Actor Also Struggled With Early Stages Of Parkinson's Disease

(Undated) -- Robin Williams' wife says the Oscar winner was in the early stages of Parkinson's Disease. In a new statement, Susan Schneider said while bravely battling depression and anxiety, Robin was also struggling with Parkinson's but was not yet ready to share that information publicly. "Variety" further quotes Schneider as saying that she hoped that in the wake of Williams' passing, others "would find the strength to seek the care and support they need to treat whatever battles they are facing so they may feel less afraid."

Williams was found dead at his home in Tiburon, California Monday. Police say the actor hanged himself. Robin Williams was 63.
