Netflix Adds More Comedy Specials To Lineup

(Undated) -- Netflix is opening its streaming portal to more comedy. The video streaming service has announced plans to roll out four comedy specials, starting with the previously-announced Chelsea Handler tour taping, which will debut on October 10th, about a month after Handler wraps her E! talk show "Chelsea Lately." Specials from Jim Jeffries, slated for August 29th; Chelsea Peretti, scheduled for November 14th; and Bill Cosby on November 28th, are also in the lineup.

As previously announced, Netflix is also working with Handler to develop a new talk show for its streaming format in 2016. Handler will also release four docu-comedy specials through Netflix before the launch of the talk show.
