Miley Cyrus' Homeless Pal Has Warrant Out For His Arrest

(Los Angeles, CA) -- The young homeless man Miley Cyrus allowed to accept her MTV Video Music Award on her behalf Sunday is apparently a wanted man. E! News says there is a warrant out for Jesse Helt's arrest in his hometown of Salem, Oregon for probation violation. His probation reportedly stems from charges that include criminal trespassing, criminal mischief and burglary for a reported break-in attempt in 2010. According to E!, court documents suggest the 22-year-old has violated his probation on numerous occasions.

Helt was thrust into the national spotlight with Cyrus allowed him to collect her award for Video of Year and deliver an emotional speech about homeless teens in America. At the end of the speech, he encouraged fans to go to Miley's Facebook page and donate to a charity, which aims to help homeless young people in Hollywood.
