Emmy Awards Underway In L.A.

(Los Angeles, CA) -- Television's show of shows is underway. NBC is airing the 66th Primetime Emmy Awards live coast-to-coast from the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. "Late Show" host Seth Meyers.
 
The first awards of the evening went to supporting comedy stars Ty Burrell for "Modern Family" and Allison Janney for "Mom." Louis C.K. was also awarded for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series for "Louie." Tonight's Emmy ceremony marks the first time in almost 40 years that the Emmys are being held on a Monday night.
