DGS Charity of the Week
Raymond Wilson Scout with Troop 121
Ray has been involved in Scouting for 8 years and is working towards the highest rank in Scouting ‘EAGLE SCOUT’. One of the final requirements in reaching Eagle is to demonstrate leadership skills by planning and carrying out an Eagle Scout Leadership Service Project. Ray is definitely going above and beyond with the project he has selected. Ray’s constructing a Memorial honoring the men and women who have fought for our Country.
The Memorial will be next to the Hero's Memorial in the Fenton City Park. Ray’s received approval from the Boy Scouts, Fenton Mayor Dennis Hancock and the Fenton City Parks Department to carry out his project. Ray has a huge task ahead of him with acquiring donations to purchase a bronze statue along with the materials needed to construct the memorial. Thank you for consideration in donating to this worthwhile Memorial that will be around for generations to come.
To help Ray build the memorial, checks can be payable to:
Troop 121 Wilson’s Eagle Project and mailed to 1330 Montevale Court, Fenton, MO 63026.
