What's Vin Diesel Doing Today?

We Have the Answers

He's had a busy week promoting his new movie "Riddick", which opens today.

This is the third "Chronicles of Riddick" movie starring Vin Diesel as Riddick . . . the guy from "Pitch Black" who can see in the dark.

He's left for dead on a planet with alien predators and uses an emergency beacon to call the bounty hunters to him.

WWE superstar Bautista, and "Battlestar Galactica's" Katee Sackhoff play mercenaries who turn to him for help surviving the alien threat.

And "Star Trek's" Karl Urban returns as Vaako, who still wants revenge from the last movie.

So naturally, you're now wondering . . . What's Vin Diesel Doing Today?

8:00 A.M. Wake up from wonderful dream my face was able to show different emotions.

9:40 A.M. Try to say a big word. Fail.

11:00 P.M. Stop by gas station and fill my car up with . . . regular unleaded. Sorry to disappoint.

12:00 P.M. Lunch . . . with my brother, Bio.

1:10 P.M. Finally branch out by agreeing to play a character who drives really fast while delivering painfully hacky one-liners.

2:15 P.M. Skip acting class. Again.

5:15 P.M. Show up to film set. Grunt. Flex. And cash check.

If you want another kind of FAST and FURIOUS movie, try GETAWAY, in which Ethan Hawke plays a former race car driver forced to steal a car and commit other crimes after his wife is kidnapped.

Selena Gomez is the owner of the high-tech Mustang he steals, and Jon Voight is the guy pulling their strings.

They have to follow his instructions and can't get out of the car or someone dies. They also can't let themselves get caught by the cops who are in hot pursuit.

"All My Children's" Rebecca Budig plays Ethan's kidnapped wife.

The new One Direction movie is also in theaters this weekend.

Niall, Zayn, Liam, Harry and Louis tell the story of how they rose to fame. It includes footage of their hometown, their competing on Britain's "X Factor", and ultimately spreading the One Direction infection to teenage girls around the world.

It's directed by Morgan Spurlock, the guy who did "Super Size Me".

It's 95 minutes long, so by the time you get out of the theater, their careers will be over.
