The "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" Reboot Hits Theaters This Weekend
The latest Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles flick is a reboot with Megan Fox as April O'Neill, a reporter who discovers the turtles and gets caught up in their fight against an army of bad guys. Will Arnett is her cameraman, and Whoopi Goldberg is their disbelieving editor.
There were some rumors online that the turtles would be ALIENS this time . . . but it's not true.
Johnny Knoxville is the voice of Leonardo, but someone else wore the motion capture suit.
Tony Shalhoub is the voice of Splinter . . . the giant rat who mentors the turtles. Enjoy the new ninja turtle rap "Shell Shocked" ... or don't enjoy it. Up to you.
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" opens today. Two artists created the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" when they set out to write a parody of other comic books. And dropped a boatload of acid.
For my money, the original 1990 film is the best, followed by the CGI 2007 version. Skip this one, dudes.
