"Sin City: A Dame to Kill For" and "If I Stay" Are In Theaters
Sin City: A Dame to Kill For is sort of a sequel AND a prequel. Mickey Rourke's back as Marv in the first of four stories, only this time he has amnesia.
Joseph Gordon-Levitt stars in the second story as a poker player who gets in over his head against Powers Boothe, the ruthless Senator Roark. In the third segment, Eva Green plays the Senator's wife, and asks Josh Brolin to help her get away from him.
Brolin is actually taking over Clive Owen's role as private investigator Dwight McCarthy from the first movie. Another replacement in this one is Dennis Haysbert as the senator's henchman Manute. He was originally played by Michael Clarke Duncan.
Jessica Alba returns as Nancy the stripper for the fourth and final segment. Bruce Willis is in too, even though his character died in the first movie. He's watching over her as a ghost, while she plots her revenge against Roark.
The rest of the cast includes Christopher Meloni as a corrupt cop, and Lady Gaga in a brief cameo as a barmaid . . . along with Rosario Dawson, Ray Liotta, and Jeremy Piven.
Chloe Grace Moretz from the "Kick Ass" movies plays a girl in "If I Stay" having an out of body experience after a car accident leaves her in a coma. Stacy Keach plays her grandfather. And the guy who plays her rock star boyfriend, a British actor named Jamie Blackley, does all his own guitar playing and singing.
