Over the last few days, there have been a ton of rumors about the FOO FIGHTERS breaking up. The band promised to make an announcement last night, and they did . . . in typical Foo Fighters fashion.
They released a seven-minute comedy skit where DAVE GROHL is trying to go solo, while the rest of the band holds a meeting to decide on his replacement.
Their list includes Sammy Hagar, Vince Neil, Chris Martin, Scott Stapp, Diplo, Justin Bieber, Gwen Stefani, Prince, and Phil Collins. They ultimately settle on NICK LACHEY, who comes in to sing "Everlong" with them.
But the video ends with a printed message that says, quote, "For the millionth time, we're not breaking up. And nobody's going [effing] solo!"
