A couple of topics really stole the show today. First, Hillary - oh, Hillary.  As if American’s didn’t already feel betrayed and confused by the attack on the consulate in Benghazi, Libya that lead to the death of four American’s including Ambassador Chris Stephens; now we have Hillary saying things like “what difference does it make who killed those people”… well Hil… the difference between a planned terrorist attack against our consulate as opposed to a random act of violence is monumental.  How about we address the gross oversight on your part and provide a legitimate reason for not sending the added security when it was requested. And where is the President on this - busy reading the letters from small children about the need to infringe upon our 2^nd Amendment rights?

Meanwhile, the media distracts us with the idea of women in combat.  As a listener I’m sure you noticed the calls coming in. Interestingly enough 97.1% (see what I did there?) of the callers were against the idea. ‘Women shouldn’t be forced into a draft…’ ‘Women think differently than men…” etc.  Each of our callers made great points backing their opinions but I think the best question we received was, “Why are we talking about this right now?” Always a sucker for an interesting (within reason) conspiracy theory, I too wonder is it a coincidence that the media has been covering the idea of women in combat at the same time we are finally addressing the events that took place in Benghazi.  Distraction? I guess we’ll find out.
