Unfortunately today with all the media malpractice, Jamie didn't get to really focus in on the comments made by Charles Krauthammer on Marco Rubio.  It's a great clip where Krauthammer says if Marco Rubio turns down the VP position he'll find a horse head in his bed.  Just a great image, especially since they now have stuffed horse heads pillows you can throw in someone's bed.

Perhaps I don't quite have my finger on the pulse of politics, but I haven't really been thinking about running mates.  I know that this is the next step in the conversation, but I guess after such a long primary process, I am still recovering.  I have heard some names and they all intrigue me, but at this point I am not sure I am totally plugged into this conversation.  Furthermore, I am not convinced that a VP makes that much of a difference to the ticket.  I know it has some weight, but you can't tell me that Uncle Joe Biden really beefed up Obama's ticket by that much.  Nor do I think Dick Cheney really helped heave GW over the popularity hurdle.  Then again, maybe I am off base.  Do you think the VP makes that much of a difference?  Who do you want to see alongside Romney?
