Dirty Disney, Racist Mountain Dew, & REST IN PEACE MAC DADDY

Mark Klose and Dave Glover had never heard of the subversive images and dialogue Disney animators have been hiding in their films FOR YEARS.
Thankfully Tony Colombo sent us THIS LINK of the Top 10 Hidden Images Found In Cartoons, which is the basis for today’s Sweet 16…”The Sweet Sixteen of the Most Disturbing Images From Kid Flicks.”
This topic also led Tony and I to discuss that age-old argument…”HOTTEST DISNEY PRINCESS.”
He’s Team Ariel….I’m Team Belle….although Rapunzel is awfully strong.
Mountain Dew has yanked one of the weird, talking goat commercials they made with ODD FUTURE rapper TYLER, THE CREATOR . . . after people complained that it was RACIST. It's part of a series of videos, where Tyler voices a goat that goes on a rampage because it can't buy Mountain Dew . . . because it's a GOAT.
The controversial ad shows a battered white woman, who's standing in front of a police lineup. Every suspect is a black male, except for the goat, who's the REAL villain.
The goat intimidates the woman by saying things like "You better not snitch on a player" . . . and "I'm gonna get out of here, and I'm gonna do you up!" She runs off yelling, "I can't do this!" And that connects to Mountain Dew's "Dew It" slogan.
It's REALLY hard to understand how this got made . . . until you consider that Mountain Dew gave Tyler "final approval" on the clip's content. In addition to being racist . . . and fueling racial stereotypes . . . the commercial seems to be trying to mine comedy out of battered women, which doesn't sound like a smart idea.
Mountain Dew's parent company PepsiCo yanked the ad less than 24 hours after it debuted . . . and said, quote, "We understand how this video could be perceived by some as offensive, and we apologize to those who were offended."
Rapper CHRIS KELLY has died at the young age of 34.
You'd know Chris better as the MAC DADDY from the '90s kid hip-hop duo KRIS KROSS.
An autopsy will take place this morning. Kelly was found unresponsive in his home in Atlanta yesterday. He was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Kris Kross consisted of Kelly and CHRIS SMITH . . . a.k.a. the DADDY MAC. They were famous for their 1992 hit "Jump", from their album "Totally Krossed Out" . . . and also for wearing their clothes backwards.
Kris Kross were discovered at an Atlanta mall in 1990 by producer Jermaine Dupri. They actually performed earlier this year at a 20th anniversary party for Dupri's So So Def Records.
See a then-and-now pic of Kris Kross on today’s blog. Kelly's the one on the left.
If you haven't seen it, Argentine soccer stud LIONEL MESSI dribbled around three defenders to score a goal in a game this weekend.
And the reaction by commentator Ray Hudson is being called "orgasmic."
