Don't Trust the B..., Hillary Clinton Testimony, and Betty and Veronica

As I type this blog post, Hillary Clinton is still testifying on Capitol Hill.
She started with some fireworks:
Rand Paul took her on at one point…seems to me like he’s starting his Presidential run with these statements.
Speaking of B’s… ABC is yanking "Don't Trust the B---- in Apartment 23" from their schedule. Technically the show hasn't been canceled, but that seems inevitable at this point.
I CANNOT STAND Krysten Ritter (in today's blog pics), so I’m OK with this news. And Dreama Walker was so good in Compliance; she should stick to films, no need for TV.
he show also featured former "Dawson's Creek" star JAMES VAN DER BEEK playing a fictionalized version of himself, and was in its second season. 11 episodes have already aired this season, and eight more have been produced. It's unclear when or if they'll see the light of day.
I know a program you will probably watch…the Super Bowl. Remember during the World Cup, we kept hearing about that octopus that made soccer picks? He's old news. We're all about this CAMEL who makes FOOTBALL picks.
Princess is a 26-year-old Bactrian camel at the Popcorn Park Zoo, in Lacey Township, New Jersey. And she's the world's MOST accurate football predicting camel.
She may be the ONLY football predicting camel, but whatever. Princess has accurately predicted six of the past seven Super Bowl winners.
The only one she got wrong was picking the Colts over the Saints three years ago. This year, she went with . . . the Baltimore Ravens over the San Francisco 49ers.
To make the picks, a zookeeper holds a graham cracker in each hand. Each graham cracker corresponds to one of the teams. Whichever one Princess eats first is the pick.
Which leads me to ask --- are there animals out there that FAIL MISERABLY at picking winning sports teams? Are there a ton of Octopi and Camels we never hear about because they suck so hard at it?
It’s Wednesday, also known as COMIC BOOK DAY. Every week new books, collectibles, clothing and such hit comic shops across the country and geeks go ga-ga as they pick up their pull-lists and part with their hard-earned cash.
Currently on my pull-list I’ve got Batman, Captain Marvel, Rachel Rising, and Saga.
I just heard about Archie Comics’ first hardcover book…all about the 70 year history of Betty and Veronica.
I’d be lying if I said I wasn’t considering picking one of these up.
