In a new survey, 96% of people say they've gone into work hungover the day after the company Christmas party, or know a coworker who has. That means only 4% HAVEN'T seen a post-Christmas party hangover. The survey also found 59% of people have seen a coworker get drunk and aggressive at the Christmas party . . . 51% have seen a coworker unnecessarily cursing at the party . . . and 45% have seen someone do something else INAPPROPRIATE.

The survey didn't ask how many people had been fired or seen someone fired over what they did at the party . . . but we're guessing it's not zero. Our office Christmas party is TONIGHT. So here's our stern, totally un-fun lesson on why you shouldn't use your party as an opportunity to hook up with a co-worker.

According to a new survey, about 10% of office party romances end in someone either getting disciplined . . . or FIRED. And yeah, 10% isn't very high . . . but you're still taking a one-in-10 shot at losing your job. And if you don't get fired, you'll at least end up DREADING going to work . . . about 64% of people who have gotten-it-on with a coworker at the company party say it made things awkward at work afterwards.

One more note: A separate survey found that 72% of women and 60% of men who've had office affairs say those affairs started at the company Christmas party. And yes, those numbers are VERY high. Remember this when your wife tells you, "No, you don't have to come to my company Christmas party this year." Yeah . . . that means she's going to make out with one of the stock boys.

According to a new survey, married women are more likely to kiss someone at a company Christmas party than married men. 48% of single men say they've kissed a married female coworker at the office party. Only 22% of single women have kissed a married male coworker. Which either means married women are more likely to make out with their coworkers than married men . . . or men are more willing than women to ADMIT they kissed someone who was married.

The survey also found that four out of five coworkers who hook up at the Christmas party end up turning it into a one-time or short-term thing. Only about one in five end in relationships.
