Ed Asner on the Evil Rich, and What Would YOU Have Done During the Subway Tragedy in New York?
Posted 12/5/2012 3:00:00 PM

Joe Holleman has a story today in the Post-Dispatch about the #1 rated News Talk radio station in Saint Louis…and it’s US! Check it out HERE.

A week ago on the blog we featured a video of a prank show in Brazil that had a little girl in an elevator scaring people. Go in the archives and look it up, it's worth it.

Today we have the HORRIFYING sequel...this time it's a 'dead' body in a casket. You've been warned.

How does the audience find this funny? It's sooooo mean!

Well the big video everyone is talking about today is this odd little animated piece for the Teacher’s Union narrated by Ed Asner.

Leave your comments on this below. I’ll say this; Ed did better work in Pixar’s UP.

Tragic story out of New York, as an argument ended in someone pushed, to their death, in front of a subway.

What would YOU have done in this situation?

Would you have tried to help the man before the train got there?

The person who took photos of the incident as it was happening said there was no way he could have helped.

I admit I'm not an economist or a financial strategist, but it's fairly obvious that if a program had been designed to place govt. bailout money into the hands of homeowners in order to pay off their home loans, the public (you know, the folks who put the lackeys of the banking industry in office) there would be less foreclosures and money getting to the banks anyway, albiet at a slower rate. This would have been a win win situation. Instead, the financial vampires not only get their money, they get to pick up the homes and resell them.

I don't understand how anyone could stand there and not try to help this man. I was really disappointed when I heard on your show tonight someone say they wouldn't have done anything because he had an obligation to his family...what about this man's family...or if it was your dad? Shame on you...this proves what a selfish, "me" society we've become.

I have to agree with Ed Asner. Why are the mega wealthy paying fewer taxes than someone making a fraction of a fraction of their income or none at all?
