Disturbing audio on the blog today, click the MP3 (under the pictures on today’s post) to hear ex-Penn State football coach Jerry Sandusky proclaim innocence after his conviction on 45 counts of child sex abuse.

It’s tough to segue to another story from that one, especially to one about a cartoon starring a young boy, but here goes nothing.

Speaking of cartoon characters, if you’re a plus-size woman who wants to dress up as a popular Disney villain, good luck trying to find a plus-size Ursula (from The Little Mermaid) costume.

Disney (via a company called Disguise Costumes) offers "sexy" versions of characters, but Sassy Ursula comes in sizes S, M & L - with L being something like a 12-14.

The company offers some plus size Disney Princess costumes - you can be Large Cinderella or Fat Belle if you want to, but you can't be Ursula, who is herself a plus-size character. Odd.

You gotta love live TV. QVC host Cassie Slane PASSED OUT on live TV Sunday, but apparently she's okay. First she started slurring her words and grabbing her chest, so it almost looked like she was having a heart attack. Then when she started falling, they cut away.

The funniest part was how her co-host didn't skip a BEAT when it happened. We assume he caught her, because it cuts away and you can't hear a thud . . . but then he continued talking about the PRODUCT, which was a computer tablet (like an iPad) for kids.

Cassie eventually got up and tried to keep going. But she kept slurring, so they cut away again.

She posted a message on her Facebook page a few hours later that said she was feeling much better . . . so it's okay to laugh without feeling guilty, you horrible, horrible person.
