Our Promotions Director Tony Colombo is sitting in on air with us this week while Mark Klose is out on vacation, and we don’t know what to do with his hair. It’s OUT OF CONTROL. Check out today’s pics to see what I mean.
Well, Vice President Joe Biden has made the gaffe of the campaign (so far). While speaking Tuesday morning in Danville, Virginia, the vice president said to an audience (with a clear population of minorities) that Romney and the Republicans want to put people back in chains. Whether the comment was meant to have racial undertones or not, we can agree it’s an unfortunate statement. Here’s the uncomfortable video:
I'm glad this next story isn't about seeing an image of JESUS, because THAT would be blasphemous. As far as I know, Jesus does NOT make appearances in bird poop. But MICHAEL JACKSON does.
Last week, 29-year-old Brandon Tudor of Oswego, Illinois was driving on a highway when a bird pooped on the windshield of his 1996 Cadillac Seville. And he immediately noticed something in the poop. It was Michael Jackson.
So Brandon decided to CASH IN, and sell the windshield on eBay. It’s what God would have wanted! He hadn't received any bids, and then, yesterday morning, DISASTER STRUCK. Brandon found that the protective plastic he'd put over the windshield had a tear in it...and the heat had MELTED AWAY Michael Jackson. So he ended the eBay auction.
Now his plan is to try to sell coffee mugs, t-shirts, stickers, and more featuring the photo of the bird poop MJ. Because we all need The King of Poop coffee mugs, right?
Today’s blog ends with some sad news, Ron Palillo -- the actor who played Horshack on Welcome Back, Kotter -- died this morning at his home near Palm Beach, FL from an apparent heart attack.
Palillo was found by his partner of many years Joseph Gramm around 4:00 AM. Gramm called an ambulance and Palillo was rushed to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Palillo was 63. Palillo was known for calling out, Ooh ooh ooh, Mr. Kotter as one of the Sweathogs on the show ... which he appeared on with John Travolta from 1975 to 1979.
After Kotter, Palillo appeared in Laverne & Shirley and voiced a character on the Disney cartoon Darkwing Duck. Palillo's Kotter co-star Robert Hegyes -- who played Epstein -- also passed away earlier this year after suffering a heart attack.
Ooh ooh ooh, R.I.P.
