In honor of Marvel's The Avengers being released tomorrow, on today's DGS we will do the Sweet Sixteen of the Greatest Superheroes of All Time.

Who would you add to the list?

The obvious ones you'd have to nominate would be Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Spider-Man, Wolverine, and Hulk.

I'd love to throw on more obscure heroes such as Power Girl and Huntress, but I doubt they'd make it out of round one.

The Avengers soundtrack is available now and the official music video world premiere for Soundgarden’s new single Live To Rise launched today.

In a nod to the music video heyday of the mid-nineties, the video (directed by Robert Hales, who has helmed videos from Red Hot Chili Peppers & Justin Timberlake among others) features a live performance mixed with film footage.

Apparently this song was not only written for but appears in The Avengers.

I don't remember hearing it when I saw the film but that could be because I was half-deaf from all the AWESOME on screen.

Soundgarden's Live To Rise single and the Avengers Assemble soundtrack album are available on iTunes and wherever music is sold.

Because they still sell music in stores, kids.
