1) Michael Steele gets his metal tested by Larry O'Donnell over the "23rd" and Steele comes out on top. I never put all the eggs in one basket in the 23rd and mostly talked about New Jersey. That state was most important.

2) Fact is the 23rd was a highly unusual race with a highly unusual district makeup and did you know there was no primary? It was a chosen candidate by committee by virtue of the special election. It's too bad too many conservatives played high school with the race and made a big deal about it..mainly because it became their pet project--it was almost narcissistic the way some people turned this race into being all about them instead of all about the voters of the 23rd. Steele is very good at realizing what went wrong in 23rd when asked by Mika.
