Some say Obama has no empathy. Obama does have empathy. He said so. He also said we, the American citizens should have empathy. The only thing is he was talking about having empathy for the terrorists of 9/11 that crashed the planes into the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and the field in Pennsylvania killing thousands of American citizens. Now he says not to jump to conclusions about the Muslim terrorist at Fort Hood. 2012 can't get here soon enough!

Obama stated my immediate thoughts & prayers were to the wounded & fallen soldiers. Yet he was clowning around & giving shout outs prior to mentioning the shooting. He said it's tough enough when soldiers are killed overseas, but horrifying to be killed on American soil. He's concerned about the soldiers’ safety at home. I'm concerned about their safety wherever they are. They are on our team. Our soldiers are DYING in Afghanistan; the General said he needs more troops for their safety. Yet, Obama is dithering on sending more troops. The shooter was a Muslim, had anti-American sentiments and did not want to go to Afghanistan.

You guys are correct to list the things the media would have falsely focused upon in a shooting...concealed carry, Christianity, Conservatism, et cetera.
You should hold yourselves to the same standard.
It is as ridiculous to focus on this guy's Islamic religion as it was for the Liberal Media to focus on the OKC bomber's Christian, militia membership.
And there is nothing anti-American about the guy admitting that any people have a right to fight and kill the soldiers of any occupying force. It doesn't matter that you and don't want our soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan; those people still have the right to fight any occupying force.
But, most importantly, this guy freaking out and murdering people separates him from all real people, the same as the unabomber and OKC bomber. Sane people don't act that way, regardless of religion or culture.
