Parents Criticize College For Closing Daycare Centers

Some parents are criticizing St. Louis Community College's plan to close daycare centers available to students on two campuses.  The college's Board of Trustees Thursday night voted to shut down the centers on the Meramec and Forest Park campuses in July as a way to save 529-thousand dollars in order to balance next year's budget.  Officials say around 200 students out of the college's 28-thousand use the centers, which charge four-dollars an hour for students to utilize.
