Oprah Winfrey is
expected to make a big announcement on the air today. A letter sent to
Oprah's staff on Thursday said the talk show host plans to announce an end date
for "The Oprah Winfrey Show" on today's episode. The letter signed by
Harpo Inc. President Tim Bennett said, "The sun will set on the 'Oprah' show as
its 25th season draws to a close on September 9, 2011." The news follows
recent reports that Oprah may be planning to move her syndicated talk show to
the cable network OWN in 2011.
