In response to the vicious attack of political hacks on business owners in Arizona after the passage of SB1070 (the Arizona Immigration law), he created the Buy Arizona! Initiative, which provides free advertising to Arizona businesses.

He is a long time entrepreneur, starting with his college days where he sold pizza door to door, and ran restaurants in Washington, D.C., as well as a plumbing company in New Jersey.
