Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Director: Michael Bay Starring: Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, John Turturro Rating: PG-13 I loved the Transformers cartoon and comic books growing up, and I still have many of the original toys, including Jetfire and Optimus Prime. In Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen we see a glimpse of Cybertron, the Matrix of Leadership is mentioned, and in one fleeting scene Megatron smacks Starscream around for usurping his command. That's all that remains of the Transformers of my youth. Instead of incorporating the franchise's 25 ...

On the heels of the announcement that Ryan Reynolds will play the role of Hal Jordan in an upcoming live action Green Lantern film, the green guardian’s first animated film hits DVD. Landshark Stadium?
Posted 9/14/2009 10:50:00 AM

It's officially football season, and I couldn't be more excited. Except for one small hitch. My hometown team, the Miami Dolphins, have made a pact with one Jimmy Buffett.

Not being a Buffett fan, I'm not sure how I feel about this.

Buffett and team owner Stephen Ross recently unveiled a logo for LandShark Stadium, the new name of the Dolphins' home. (Buffett's LandShark Lager is brewed by Anheuser-Busch, and is not too bad.)

Thankfully, the agreement to change the name from Dolphin Stadium is for THIS SEASON ONLY and expires BEFORE the stadium plays host to the Super Bowl in February.

Thank the almighty (Marino) for that.
